1971 Nixon made US "great again" by stealing the world dollar rather than making bankruptcy. And today US continuing $-embezzlement has reached roads end so Trump weaponizes every last ounce of US stolen $-hegemony incl. tariffs - usually followed by a threatening phone call.
How ignorant (or worse)
are BBC's presenters?! They seem to be in total darkness about US and
China! Moreover, the increase in military attack spending is extremely
shortsighted, hurt people in UK, and is doomed to fail at best or
endanger peace and lives at worst.
This extremely ignorant (or worse) BBC "reporter", Laura Bicker, was stupidly presented on Sinophobic BBC Radio 4 Today, as "how China tries to catch up with US". And for this purpose she strangely reported about Chinese kids playing with chess and AI.
Peter Klevius: China has long since passed* US. US can't even produce a single high quality chip by itself! There's actually not a single area where US can compete* with China - except in creating wars. This is the reason US behaves as it does - like a desperado while applauded by its useful idiot "allies"!
BBC sees no evil in US or Israel- but eagerly backs whatever baseless US anti-China propaganda.
When
Assad made a deal with China that would have greatly increased the
wealth of Syrians, US toppled him and placed Uighur jihads who had
fought together with IS etc. islamist terrorists in charge. Everything
possible to harm China and with no remorse for people in Syria.
* How could China with more than 100 million+ modern cities with superior infrastructure be second to US with seven low quality infrastructure similar size cities? And yes, I know that CCP likes to keep a low profile by using the "second largest economy" based on the completely useless nominal (i.e. Feds Mickey Mouse money) $-GDP, as well as making general development targets far in the future so not to worry competitors. Already today every branch of China's defense forces is more technologically advanced than anything in US attack forces. But US is so experienced with many endless wars, someone might argue. Yes, indeed, but China isn't Vietnam, Afghanistan, the Gaza strip, Lebanon etc!
And while US has a (criminal) $-motive to attack where it can instead of cooperation, China's tech leadership makes it not only renounce of such motive, but has all to win on peaceful trading etc. cooperation.
Peter Klevius always thought Soviet and Maoist Communisms were bad. However, how is modern China's "Communism" bad other than as a derogatory lie made by desperate US? China beats US in people's support, technology and science, and is in most aspects a model country and much safer ! When you adjust for the effects of hegemonic US anti-China smear campaigns, as well as US hegemonic soft war and lawfare against China and Chinese people, as well as US hegemonic military provocations on China's borders and interests around the world, and add these together, only then you can get a fair picture of China's reactions - which have nothing with Communism to do, but would be natural for any country. And whereas in the West you are constantly spied on by not only US but also the country you legally reside in - and in both cases not benefiting you but the state(s) - in China its superior infrastructure makes living way easier and more predictable.
And finally, whereas US has a clear motive to attack China on all fronts so to keep US stolen (1971-) dollar hegemony despite constant deficit and losing all tech and science races, for China the opposite is true. US has actually never been the source of leading tech and science. US has only imported it or having others doing the difficult jobs, such as e.g. Chinese (Taiwanese) semiconductor manufacturing with Dutch semiconductor printers - which US criminally hinders Dutch from exporting to mainland China. And historically, US couldn't even produce the atom bomb without a Chinese scientist - who then typically was dropped from the Oppenheimer movie, despite being possibly the greatest scientist of her time (see next posting).
China is basically similar to your own country, except of course so much more developed. And all new technologies in China were first presented in the West as "CCP's surveillance" before they became equally used in the West, where US knows everything about you (and can weaponize its control), and your bank and credit institutes keep point record over your behavior. Moreover, the real difference is that in China you are so much safer against crimes than in the West.
